How to use an idea with an AI character
Send the setup first, as an out-of-character note, so the character knows the situation without it turning into dialogue. Then send the first line and let her answer before you add anything else.
Keep the conflict alive. Each idea works because something stands between the two characters, so if the first replies solve it, say so in one short note and ask for the reply again.
